Our next outing will be to Nailsea’s Apple Day, which is at the Tithe Barn from

1pm until 5:30pm on 21st October.

Last year this was a great success, and we pressed enough juice for everyone to take some home.

Legend

Apple Day is organised by Nailsea Transition Group with the assistance of the Nailsea Cider team on the day.  There are displays and cakes available, you can bring apples to be pressed, and can taste the juice that they produce, and also the juice that’s blended from all the apples that come on the day.

This year, like last year you will also be able to taste cider that was made from the apple juice from the previous year.

So, come along, with all the family, on Saturday 21st October in the afternoon.  If you’ve got an old demijohn and an airlock then come along and fill it up (give it a good clean first) and have a go at making your own.  If you haven’t, but fancy having a go then talk to us.  We’ll point you in the right direction for getting what you need.  At the very least there will be tea and coffee and cake, plus apple juice and cider.

Now that seems like a good afternoon to me!
